Business development, with my hands in it
Bruno T. · BA Intelligence · Ipswich and London
Not advice from the outside. Technology, web, concept, cash flow, commercial, marketing and planning — across a group of companies I answer for.
The most valuable thing a diagnosis can say is no
Businesses have paid me to tell them not to do it. The idea they arrived with would have lost them money, and saying so was the work — not a failure to sell them something.
That is only possible because the diagnosis is a product in its own right, not a free step on the way to an invoice. When the answer is that the operation does not need a new website, or that the plan does not hold up, you hear it.
The rest follows from the same place: being straight, taking care, and putting yourself in the position of the person on the other side. Over enough years, clients become friends. That is not a slogan — several of the businesses I work with today started as clients a decade ago, and we ended up building a stronger ecosystem together.
From one website to running the whole thing
Every piece of work on this site is part of the same practice. What changes between them is depth — not subject.
A website that does its job
Never only pages. What to say and in what order, the Google side set up so people find you, the forms that actually capture, the speed, the languages, and someone answering when it breaks.
Being found and chosen
SEO, paid traffic, social and email — measured against what they bring, not against how busy they look. Plus the brand work underneath: identity, tone, and materials that look like one company.
Systems that run the operation
When the spreadsheet stops fitting: clients, stock, invoicing, contracts, credit, portals and AI that reads your own data. Built around how the business already works.
The business itself
The heavier work: commercial structure, planning, administration and cash flow. Where the answer is sometimes that the technology is not the problem.
Where I work from
Ipswich is the base, and there is a base in Richmond, London, for when the work is better done in the room — a meeting, a review, a first conversation. Some clients I have never needed to sit with; others it made all the difference.

Molina & Co
Business development across the group
A logistics group in Ipswich where the pieces feed each other: deliveries, fulfilment, the software that runs the routes, the garage that keeps the fleet on the road, and the print operation that dresses it all. I am responsible for business development across the group — and I build, not only advise.

Molina Express
Delivery across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex
The delivery arm, working with a network of partner drivers. Routes, uniforms, insurance and parking are handled centrally so a driver can start without setting up a business from scratch.

Where the range comes from
Self-taught, and still learning. The mix is unusual on purpose — it is what lets a diagnosis move between the commercial, the creative, the technical and the human sides of a business without handing you off to four different people.
Professional football
Former professional footballer. Where the discipline and the reading of a team came from.
Marketing
The foundation, and the trade practised for more than two decades.
Film
Specialisation in cinema in San Diego, California. Audiovisual production has been part of the work ever since.
Artificial intelligence
Specialisation course at the University of Oxford. What the AI work in our systems is built on.
Physical rehabilitation
A degree in the field, and a genuine interest in it — which is why healthcare clients get someone who understands the practice, not just the website.
Three books
Author of three books, and still writing.
